Jeg har blitt litt Razorlight frelst jeg da. Jeg elsker de muntre melodiene og de merkelige tekstene. Veldig mange av sangene dems er allerede på listen over favoritter.  Dessuten har de en veldig kul hjemmeside

Death cab for cutie

Death cab for cutie er virkelig et av mine favorittband. Jeg har virkelig blitt trollbundet av musikken. Den er eventyrlig og tekstene er filosofiske og tankevekkende.

Death cab for cutie er et inderock band som ble stiftet i Wahington i 1997. Bandet består av Benjamin Gibbard, Chris Walla, Nicholas Harmer og Jason Mc Gerr. Det er både tekstene og musikken jeg faller for ved denne musikken. Musikken er varierende og utfyllende gjennom alle låtene og tekstene er rett og slett nydelige. Ikke bare dette, men i tillegg har vokalistene utrolig bra stemmer som topper det hele.

Jeg lover deg, hør på dem og du vil drømme deg bort. Besøk hjemmesiden, som nylig har blitt skikkelig freshet opp. Eller d u kan lytte til dem på youtube eller Myspace.

Chairlift

Jeg oppdagde nylig dette bandet da jeg sjekket ut Øya-festivalen. Jeg digger musikken og spesielt liker jeg sangen Bruises. Den får meg til å drømme meg bort. Chairlift er et Brooklyn basert elektronisk pop band. Det består av Aaron Pfenning , Caroline Polachek  og Patrick Wimberly. Virkelig et band som er verdt å sjekke ut, så besøk Myspace siden eller nettsiden dems.

Ja, jeg digger også Kings of leon. Fantastisk bra musikk. Så kunne ikke la dem passere fordi denne fantastiske musikk-anbefalings siden.  Jeg tror bare jeg gir dere mine yndlingssanger: I want you, Sex on fire, Notion.

 

A sweedish band formed by Rasmus Kellerman. On the albums Tiger Lou is a solo project with Kellerman writing lyrics and playing nearly every instrumental part himself. Live, however, he is backed up by Erik Welén, Mathias Johansson and Pontus Levahn. According to Kellerman, the name Tiger Lou is taken from a character called Tiger Lu in  Corey Yuen’s 1993 movie Fong Sai-yuk, although he says that “no one knows where the extra O came from” on the band’s official site. Thought I’d give you some facts, always a little bit useful. But what I want you to do is to listen to their/his music, because it is amazing. The songs are relaxing and makes you wanna be alone and just listen and nothing else. I love Sam as in Samantha, You can”t say no to me, Gone drifting and A room with a view  .

This young man is amazing and I’m kind off in love with him. I would like to call it love, at least. His voice are stunning and he looks amazing. From Scottland and only 20 years old, incrdeble? I know.

 Paolo Nutini was born and raised in Paisley, in Scotland. He is a 20-year old singer and songwriter. He’s known for his beautiful unique hoarse voice. He actually sounds like an old man. Which is beautiful and charming. Especially when his biggest inspiration is his grandfather. He introduced Paolo to Scottish folk music and was a big fan of woggie piano. Paolo really loved him. It was him that really encouraged him to sing and write songs. He always wanted the Nutini family to live for the music. And now Paolo is making his wish come true, even if he isn’t around to see it. He is doing it for him and for his honor.

His parents run a fish and chips shop in Paisley, that his grandfather opened some years back in time. His father always wanted him to take over after him. But Paolo live for the music. They say he is blessed with a soulful and passionate voice, which really makes you feel alive. He makes music make sense; he gives the lyrics a meaning. His songs are beautiful and show a lot of sensible thoughts and feelings.

It was in the school choir that Paolo began to sing. The teacher discovered his voice and realized right ahead that he was talented he gave him a more soulful repertoire. Paolo quit school when he was 16, to travel with a friend’s band to sell t-shirts and work as a rodie, before he moved to London to perform regularly at pubs and clubs. He arranged to affect many people with his music and became more and more popular and people really liked his work. The attention around him became bigger and bigger. He signed to Atlantic Records and right after his 18^th birthday he was heading to Liverpool to create his debut album. He got help from the producer named Ken Nelson, who also have worked with Coldplay, Ray LaMontage etc.The result of their work, named ‘These Streets’, and contains departure from his beloved Paisley to his arrival in sprawling London – as chronicled in the title track’s aching lament, “Where it takes you about an hour to cross the road/Just to stumble across another poor old soul”. Paolo says that the album can be described as a diary from his last three years. Romantic is already became a theme in his songs. “Jenny don’t be hasty”, one of his songs. Where he sings about an older woman he met in London, when he was 18. It’s obvious that Paolo’s songs is affected and inspired by his life and his own experiences. That makes his songs very personal and interesting.   Personally I love him, he is unique. You get a relaxing good feeling by listening to his music. His voice is amazing and you almost can’t turn it off.  Also, he is a very good looking boy, adorable. And I bet he’s charming too. He appears to be earthbound.

“Initially, I’d wanted to be a football player,” Nutini recalls, “specifically a goalkeeper. But the more I sang, the more I realized it was just something I could do. I was hardly going to walk away from that, was I?”

“Everything that has happened to me so far has been really good, really fluent,” Nutini says. “There have been a few bumps along the way, sure, but nothing fatal. All I want now is for enough people to identify with my songs so I can keep on singing them. I like to think they’re worth hearing.”

 

 

Dette indierock bandet fra Sheffield i England er særegent og musikken deres er veldig veldig bra. Enda et indierock band jeg digger. Aksanten gjør det extra bra denne gangen også. Jeg bare elsker den.

Bandet som består av Alex Turner ( som er utrolig sjarmerende) på vokal og gitar, Jamie Cook på gitar, Nick O’Malley på bass og  på Matthew Helders på trommer.

Music sets my thoughts in prespective, it makes them more understandeble. It’s like other people write down lyrics so that I can understand my own thoughts better. I love music, and I know either one of you would’ve lived without.
